blank
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the Volcanic Legend Spice Blend, olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and lime juice to create the marinade.
Place the trimmed flank steak in a large zip-top plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight for maximum flavor.
Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F). Remove the flank steak from the marinade and let it rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
Grill the flank steak for about 4-6 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness (135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium).
Once cooked, transfer the steak to a cutting board and let it rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips and arrange on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro for a pop of color and flavor.
